Who ever coined the phrase "never judge a book by its cover" must have had a premonition about 33 year old tattoo artist/owner Casper when they thought it up. At a time when he started they still used acetate and charcoal for stencils along with flash (pages of art that you pick from). Tattooing has evolved in the past ten years since he took his apprenticeship. Casper is introducing tattoo fans to a brand new look to tattoo shops and 100% custom tattoos as well as a safe sterile field to be tattooed in. Casper is unique. Born and raised in the rough streets and neighborhoods of San Diego, California he got his hands on prison style equipment and started experimenting at the young age of thirteen off and on. He moved to Buffalo, New York at the age of twenty. Then at the age of twenty-three he really got serious and has been tattooing professionally ever since. His style is unique because he does not have one set style, he likes to dab into a whole palette of art styles. Casper uses techniques from his other mediums like airbrushing and crosses it over into his tattoo techniques which give him his unique style. He loves black and gray realism but in his next tattoo, he will do some color bomb stuff back to back. Most of all he loves to push the envelope in his art and studio. In 2004 he opened Eternal Ink Tattoos and delivered. Unpleased with seeing and hearing the horror stories from tattoo fans Casper built Eternal Ink to be above and beyond Erie County Health Dept. codes and regulations, as now Eternal Ink is the only shop to have its own sterilization facility and uses state of the art equipment. The artists have blood borne pathogens and cross contamination certificates. He goes the extra mile not only for your safety and health but ours. Raised to be strong and independent Casper is going to continue to push the envelope in his art and the tattoo industry, you can expect to see Casper and Eternal Ink for many years to come.
